BuzzyX vs Crux
BuzzyX and Crux are pitched at the same person: a founder building in public on ๐. BuzzyX helps you polish what you already meant to say; Crux proposes what to say from what you just shipped.
Updated
BuzzyX is an ๐ workspace for founders who build in public. Its one plan, 29 USD a month or 290 USD a year for one account, covers Assist rewrites and post ideas in your voice, a calendar up to a hundred posts ahead that it publishes on time, ๐ API analytics with best times, and Discover reply ideas you send yourself, with daily caps such as eight posts. Crux (cruxpost.com) begins with your code host instead: pushes, merged pull requests and releases on the repos you choose become drafts, your coding agent can add context, every repo can have a public changelog, and Learnings tell you what works only once it beats chance. BuzzyX is the better pick for rewrites and account-wide analytics; Crux for turning shipping into posts.
What BuzzyX is
BuzzyX calls itself an all-in-one ๐ growth workspace for founders who build in public. You compose with Assist, which offers improve, stronger hook, shorten, expand and tone rewrites that still sound like you, and plan the week on a calendar; scheduled posts are sent from its servers, and its site says nothing is posted that you did not ask for.
Discover finds posts worth replying to and suggests replies in your voice; Reply on ๐ opens ๐โs own reply box with your pick filled in, so you send each one. Analytics come from the ๐ API: follower trend, impressions, engagement, top posts and best posting times. The interface is in six languages.
Its single Pro plan has firm daily limits that reset at midnight UTC: eight posts, one link post, eight images and one fresh Discover search, plus 500 AI suggestions a month. The trial is 7 days with a card and nothing charged up front. GitHub, a changelog and videos were not mentioned on its pages that day.

Where BuzzyX is better
- Reply ideas: Discover drafts a reply in your voice for each post it finds, sent from ๐โs own reply box. Cruxโs feed has drafts too, but whoever runs Crux can switch them off.
- Assist rewrites for a stronger hook, a shorter cut or a different tone.
- An analytics view of your whole account, with follower trend, impressions and engagement.
- An app you can use in six languages, from sign-in to dashboard, where Cruxโs is in English.
Where Crux is better
- Drafts arrive on their own after you push, merge or release, written from what you shipped.
- Your coding agent can add the reason behind a change through the Crux plugin.
- A public changelog per repo and template videos of your work come from the same events.
- Learnings name a pattern only once it beats a test against chance; BuzzyX shows charts, not tests.
- A trial that needs no card, and a paid entry plan priced below BuzzyXโs, though that Crux plan does not post for you.

Questions
BuzzyX or Crux for a solo founder?
If you want help rewriting posts, a calendar and reply ideas for one account at one price, BuzzyX covers that neatly. If you would rather your shipped work became the first draft, and want to see which kinds of post actually work, Crux is built for it.
What does BuzzyX cost?
Its pricing page on 19 October 2026 listed one plan, Pro, at 29 USD a month or 290 USD a year, with a trial of 7 days that needs a card. It has no free plan, though its eleven free tools work without an account.
Does BuzzyX post for me?
It publishes posts you schedule on its calendar, up to eight a day, and nothing else; replies are always sent by you. Crux behaves the same way on its Autopilot plan: it posts only drafts you schedule and never sends a reply.
Does either tool read GitHub?
BuzzyX did not mention GitHub on its site. Crux uses a read-only GitHub App on the repos you choose and reads commit messages, pull request and release text and changed file names, never the code itself.
Which gives better analytics?
For an overview of the account, BuzzyX: follower trend, impressions, engagement and top posts in one place. For whether a habit really works, Crux: each post is set against the ones around it and only patterns that beat chance are reported.
