Reach linter for posts on π
Paste the main post of what you are about to publish. The linter flags a link in it, more than two hashtags, asking outright for likes or follows, and AI-sounding phrases, and says where each rule comes from: π's help pages, π's public ranking code, or a hand-picked list.

How it works
Some things in a post work against it. π's public ranking code weights opening a link far below a reply, so some writers move the link to the first reply. π's help page recommends no more than 2 hashtags per post. Its authenticity policy prohibits trading engagement, such as follow for follow, and lists restricting reach among the ways it enforces that. This linter checks each of those, plus outright requests for likes and AI-sounding phrases from the AI slop checker's list, which are hand-picked rather than measured.
Questions
Does π lower the reach of posts with links?
π has not published a rule that says so. Its public ranking code gives opening a link a weight of 0.2 and a reply 5.0, which is why the linter suggests putting the link in the first reply. Crux measures what links do on your own posts.
How many hashtags should a post on π have?
π's help page recommends no more than 2 per post, while allowing as many as you like. The linter flags 3 or more.
What counts as engagement bait?
Offers to trade engagement, such as follow for follow or like for like, which π's authenticity policy prohibits, and outright requests such as like if you agree or tag a friend, from a hand-picked list. A real question is not bait; the linter marks it as one that invites replies.
How is it different from the AI slop checker?
It runs the AI slop checker's checks for links, length and phrases, the same code, and adds hashtags and engagement bait. The slop checker also checks figures and links against the facts you gave an AI.
From one post to every push
Crux (cruxpost.com) watches the GitHub repos you choose. Each push, merged pull request or release becomes three drafts in your voice, checked the way this siteβs tools check a post, and your coding agent can add why a change matters through the Crux plugin for Claude Code and Codex. Crux reads commit messages, pull request and release text and the names of changed files, never a diff. Post on X copies the draft you like and opens X with it, for you to post; on Autopilot, Crux posts only what you schedule. It reads each post at 1 hour, 24 hours and 7 days, and learns which kinds of post work for your account only once a pattern beats chance.
