How it works
A good launch post says what the product does, who it is for and where to try it, in a few short lines. These templates are written that way for four kinds of day: a launch, a Product Hunt day, a release with its main changes, and a milestone. They use only the details you type, with no AI model, so a post never claims a number or feature you did not give. What only you can say, such as why you built it, is left as a [[blank]] to fill.
Questions
Does this use AI?
No. Each post is a fixed template filled with what you type, so it never adds a claim, a number or a feature of its own.
What are the [[blanks]]?
Parts only you can write, such as why you built the product or what you learned, and any field you left empty. Fill them before you post.
Does a link count against the length?
Yes, as 23 characters whatever its length, the way 饾晱 counts it. Each template shows its length as 饾晱 counts it and marks one that runs past 280.
How is this different from Crux?
Crux writes posts like these from your releases and merged pull requests on GitHub, three drafts at a time in your voice, and then measures how the ones you post do. This page is the small template version, free and without an account.
From one post to every push
Crux (cruxpost.com) watches the GitHub repos you choose. Each push, merged pull request or release becomes three drafts in your voice, checked the way this site鈥檚 tools check a post, and your coding agent can add why a change matters through the Crux plugin for Claude Code and Codex. Crux reads commit messages, pull request and release text and the names of changed files, never a diff. Post on X copies the draft you like and opens X with it, for you to post; on Autopilot, Crux posts only what you schedule. It reads each post at 1 hour, 24 hours and 7 days, and learns which kinds of post work for your account only once a pattern beats chance.
