AI slop checker for posts on π
Paste a draft, ideally one an AI wrote for you. The checker runs the same checks Crux runs on every draft: length as π counts it, the kind of opening line, the longest sentence, links, questions, overused phrases, and figures or links that are not in the facts you gave.

How it works
AI-written posts tend to fail in a few repeatable ways: stock phrases such as game changer or excited to announce, figures and links the writer never supplied, sentences too long for a timeline, and posts that run past the limit. This checker flags each one. Paste the facts you gave the AI, and any number, link or @handle in the draft that is not in them is flagged. The phrase list starts with common examples and is yours to edit; it is a list, not a measurement.
Questions
Does it detect whether a post was written by AI?
No. It does not guess who wrote a post. It checks for the problems AI drafts often have, so you can fix them before you post.
Where does the phrase list come from?
It is a starting list of phrases often seen in AI-written posts, chosen by hand and not measured. Add your own and remove any you are happy to use; Crux users keep such a list in their settings.
How does the figures check work?
Paste what you told the AI in the facts box. Any number in the draft that does not appear in the facts, and any link or @handle you did not give, is flagged for you to check. With the facts box empty, this check is skipped.
Why does it not tell me whether my hook is good?
Whether a kind of opening works depends on the account. Crux measures that on your own posts and only reports a kind once it beats chance; with no posts to compare, this page only names the kind.
From one post to every push
Crux (cruxpost.com) watches the GitHub repos you choose. Each push, merged pull request or release becomes three drafts in your voice, checked the way this siteβs tools check a post, and your coding agent can add why a change matters through the Crux plugin for Claude Code and Codex. Crux reads commit messages, pull request and release text and the names of changed files, never a diff. Post on X copies the draft you like and opens X with it, for you to post; on Autopilot, Crux posts only what you schedule. It reads each post at 1 hour, 24 hours and 7 days, and learns which kinds of post work for your account only once a pattern beats chance.
